The credit merchant (Visa, MasterCard or Diners Club) will convert the South African Rand value into the cardholder’s preferred currency and forward the transaction to the card issuing bank. The credit merchant charges a percentage fee for the conversion and add this fee to the authorized amount (the cardholder pays for the currency conversion).

Donations to Hospital Welfare may qualify for a tax certificate as per Section 18A, under the Income Tax Act. If you are a taxpayer in South Africa and require a tax certificate, please send us an email together with your proof of donation and postal details.
